Caring for Senior Citizens, One Pet at a Time.

Our Mission

Companion Animal Care of Brevard County, FL, is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to finding qualified and caring foster and adoptive homes for the companion pets of senior citizens who are experiencing aging and health-related challenges.  CAC's 'Paw Pantry', through our partnership with The Pet Project in Ft Lauderdale and GreaterGood.org Rescue Bank, purchases dog and cat food at a reduced rate and distributes it to Brevard County food pantries to help those struggling to feed their pets. â€‹

We believe that every senior citizen deserves the joy and comfort of a loving pet, and we work tirelessly to ensure their pets receive the care and attention they need to thrive when their owners are unable, on a short- or long-term basis.  Together, we are making a difference in the lives of both seniors and their beloved pets, bringing relief and reassurance knowing their furry or feathered family member will be lovingly cared for.

URGENT REQUEST:  PET FOSTERS ARE NEEDED!

Without pet fosters, we are unable to help the animals in need.  Please get in touch with us if you would consider opening your heart and home to a pet in need.  All pet expenses are paid for by CAC.
